AIR ANIMALS

Hi children!

Today we are going to learn something about AIR ANIMALS. This type of animals can fly, because they have two wings. So we can see them in the sky. In this category we differentiate between birds and insects.

All birds have bones, they have their body feathered and they have two legs. Moreover, they also have got a beak, so they haven’t got any teeth.  They are born from an egg in a nest. We can see birds around all the world and there are some species that are typical of a specific place. Some kind of birds emigrates to other places to find warm climates.

The insects are small animals that have two antennas, three pairs of legs and two pairs of wings. They haven’t got any bones. There a lot of different species of these little animals, they are around one million in our planet.

There is an animal that can fly but it isn’t has the body feathered and it isn´t born from an egg. This animal it’s the bat, which is a mammal.
